Studio used by Hendrix, Bowie and the Stones to reopen after decades silent
Regent Sounds

After a prolonged period of uncertainty over its future, Borkowski were tasked with relaunching this cornerstone of music history, bringing it to the fore of Denmark Street’s ongoing resurgence. With a significant refurbishment and brand-new high-end vintage lounge, celebrating the shop’s history as a recording studio, Regent Sounds was primed for a high-profile revival.
With a two pronged approach that focused on both the relaunch of the shop and the publication of a book celebrating the life and work of T-Bone Walker, Borkowski planned and executed a relaunch event, as well as securing coverage in key national titles including the Guardian, The Times and the BBC.
The launch night party brought together guests from across the music industry, as well as influencers, journalists and artists; with Borkowski managing the guest list, we drew on our wealth of experience and depth of contacts in arts and entertainment to bring in key figures from the shop’s history alongside up and coming artists and performers to celebrate the acquisition of one of Walker’s guitars.
