About Us
About Us was the launch event of Unboxed – the national festival of creativity that had attracted controversy due to its initial conception as ‘Brexit Festival’. Our challenge was to create a positive, high-impact media profile for About Us that transcended criticism of Unboxed and highlighted its producers’ unique approach. We placed key establishing pieces that profiled key creatives and spotlighted collaborations with local communities to create a positive profile for About Us and nuance the overall coverage of Unboxed. For the launch we curated a dazzling visual story for both picture desks and broadcasters which generated widespread positive coverage.
About Us was considered one of the most successful and best-received events at Unboxed, with some of the most positive media coverage and consistent footfall. In November 2022 it was revived as the closing event of Unboxed at the Tower of London.
Extensive coverage significantly boosted the audience for ‘About Us’ – the productions were seen by over 80,000 people nationwide
Effectively countered criticism of the national festival of creativity.
